MANSFIELD — Richland Public Health provided the following local update to the COVID-19 pandemic on Friday afternoon.

Richland County data from Richland Public Health*. Ohio data from ODH. For others Johns Hopkins data has been used.

Richland County has 7,849 confirmed positive pandemic cases with 2,572 probable cases for a total of 10,421 cumulative cases. There have been 573 hospitalizations, with 5 current (OHA Report). 88 people have spent time in the ICU. There have been 210 confirmed pandemic deaths. 10,067 people on the cumulative list have recovered.

Ohio has 841,724 confirmed positive pandemic cases with 145,016 probable cases for 986,740 total cases with 18,036 pandemic deaths. There are or have been 51,438 individuals hospitalized in Ohio with 7,261 ICU admissions. Ohio’s presumed-recovered count is 935,857.

The U.S. has 29,297,405 cumulative pandemic cases in all 50 states and 5 jurisdictions; 531,276 pandemic deaths; U.S. Recovered Cases: 21,495,899 (from worldometer as Johns Hopkins is no longer updating this statistic).

Global cumulative pandemic cases: 118,798,642 cases; 2,633,768 pandemic deaths; Global Recovered Cases: 67,260,480.
