MADISON TOWNSHIP — Madison Comprehensive High School and Adult Career Center’s welding programs are in need of scrap sheet steel, preferably 1/4″ and 3/8″.

Students use this scrap steel to practice their welding skills. The school’s supply is getting low, especially with the identified thicknesses.

With the cost of steel, the school relies heavily on donations of scrap steel for training purposes to keep the cost of its training programs low.

“We are seeking donations of sheet steel (preferably 1/4″ & 3/8″),” said Sonja Pluck, Director of Madison Adult Career Center. “We can cut the sheets down with our shear, so donations can be any size. Madison will provide a receipt for all donations that the company can use for tax purposes.

“Companies can email me directly and I will work with them on arranging pick up or delivery.”

Pluck can be reached at 419-589-6363.
