MANSFIELD — After canceling its July 2020 festival, the Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival appears to be back on track for 2021 as new dates were officially announced Tuesday.
The three-day event takes place at the Ohio State Reformatory and is touted as one of the nation’s premiere rock festivals, featuring more than 30 bands on two outdoor stages, 60-plus tattoo artists, gourmet food trucks and more.
Since 2018, Inkcarceration has featured some big-name headliners including Godsmack, Shinedown, Five Finger Death Punch, Skillet, Bush and Rise Against.
Blink-182, Weezer, Limp Bizkit and Papa Roach were booked for the 2020 festival, as well as Mansfield’s own Sink the Ship, which would have been the first local band to take the stage.
Inkcarceration 2021, which will take place on July 23, 24 and 25. No lineup of bands nor ticket information has yet been released.
