MANSFIELD — Eight unique vendors will set up a pop up shop this weekend at Social on Main.

“This pop up shop is part of DMI’s ongoing mission to support and grow entrepreneurship in downtown Mansfield,” said Jamie Lustig Thompson, chief development officer.

This weekend’s pop up shops will include Calla Lily Yarn Works, GJRP 3D Printing, Lola and Lily’s Pastry Shop, Paparazzi, Life is Art, doTerra Essential Oils, Natalia Gorka Art and Color Street.

The vendors will be set up Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Located at 128 North Main Street, Social on Main is a new event space operated by Downtown Mansfield Inc. The space is open for community rentals, private events and pop up shops for budding entrepreneurs.

DMI hosted its first pop up shop in September and has already scheduled a third during the First Friday in November.

Ashleigh Ramey of Calla Lily Yarn Works said she enjoyed participating in the first pop up shop in September.

“I thought it was a really great venue,” Ramey said. “It’s great for people who might not be able to afford their own storefront or even have the desire to get their own storefront to get in front of the public every once and a while.”
