What type of society do we live in where we refuse to accept the fact that others might not have the same same thoughts or ideas as we do?
In the past several weeks we have had political signs stolen and torn up in our yard. There are some who drive past our home and must think that our yard is a place to throw their trash.
I don’t throw trash in your yard or cowardly sneak in and steal from you. You don’t have to agree with me and I should not have to be intimidated to agree with you.
I understand that we have been shown through our political people, that’s OK to do.
I write this hoping that you know how to read. When we lower ourselves to not let others have their own ideas, we just show what type of person that we are supporting in this election.
I saw a sign in someone’s yard the other day that says, “If you take this sign, I can always get another one.” And how true that is.
Don’t try to take my freedom away by not letting me support who I want. I will let you support who you want.
