MANSFIELD — Alli Lange, a 2020 graduate of Ashland University, has joined the faculty at Richland Academy of the Arts and is now offering private instruction in voice, beginner piano, beginner trumpet, and beginner French horn.

Lange graduated from Ontario High School in 2016.

Lange graduated from Ashland University’s College of Arts and Sciences last month with her bachelor’s degree in music.

She is a mezzo soprano vocalist who has been trained in classical, musical theatre, jazz, and modern music styles throughout her education. Throughout her college years, Lange also studied musical theatre, music education, as well as instrumental music.

She has been involved in the Miss Ohio/Miss America Organization for the past two years and currently holds the title of Miss Spirit of Ohio, where she competes as a vocalist and promotes her personal platform. Lange, who also graduated with a minor in Religion, serves as a worship and youth ministry Leader at her church in her spare time.

“I am very passionate about helping musicians grow and develop their own passion for music,” Lange said. “An educator in my elementary years inspired me to explore and believe in my musical talent and her influence started me down this musical path.

“I am a firm believer that every child, given the opportunity, should explore the arts because there are so many developmental benefits. I am excited to begin teaching at the Richland Academy and hope to inspire people of all ages by giving them the gift of music,” Lange said.

Summer classes at the Academy began June 15 in music, dance, visual art, and martial arts. To enroll in vocal or music lessons with Lange, call the Richland Academy of the Arts at 419-522-8224 or visit richlandacademy.com.
