Co-host Adam “Doc” Fox shares a story he once penned about Ashland resident Mike Trine, who came home with his brother to find his mother dead in their home.
Unbeknownst to the boys, Mike was sent to the killer’s home while police came to the crime scene to investigate.
Later in the podcast, producer and co-host Noah Jones shared a story about Mansfield’s Lester Eubanks, who escaped from the Ohio State Reformatory more than 40 years ago when he was granted a Christmas shopping trip after showing good behavior.
Eubanks was serving a life sentence after the brutal rape and murder of 14-year-old Mary Ellen Deeder, behind a vacant home on the outskirts of Downtown Mansfield.
