SHELBY — The Shelby City Health Department reported a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 on Tuesday afternoon.
It’s the first positive COVID-19 test result for the Shelby. The Shelby City Health Department stated it is following the Ohio Department of Health protocols in regard to identifying close contacts and self-quarantine procedures.
“We will continue to monitor the condition of this individual and provide all of the care and support we can in the days ahead,” said Tiffany Ellenberger, the SCHD director of nursing.
If citizens show signs of potential coronavirus infection, they are encouraged to contact their primary care physician for medical direction.
