To the Editor:

Voters in the March 17 Democratic primary election have two qualified candidates for the office of Richland County Probate Judge.

I have known Kirsten Pscholka-Gartner for quite a few years. A graduate of Lexington High School, she returned to Richland County after law school in 2004 to begin her legal career as an assistant prosecuting attorney with the Richland County Prosecutor’s Office.

After six years of service in that position, Kirsten was named as Magistrate in the Richland County Domestic Relations Court. She has held that position for nine years. Public service has been her calling.

I have known the other candidate in the race for but a few months. He has practiced many cases in the local probate court. But Kirsten’s judicial experience as a Magistrate gives her the edge. She has earned my vote on Election Day.

Kirsten Pscholka-Gartner is well qualified by her experience, by her education, and by her servant’s heart to be our next probate judge. She’ll give 110% to Richland County and its residents.

Join with me in voting for her in next week’s Democratic primary on Election Day, Tuesday, March 17.
