MANSFIELD — The Ohio State University at Mansfield campus is hoping to bring as many alumni together as possible for a marketing video to send to Columbus.
The video will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the founding of Ohio State. OSU-Mansfield will be hosting the event on Feb 8 at 11 a.m. in Riedl Hall at 1760 University Drive, Mansfield, OH, 44906.
Kayla Garrabrant, a 2017 alumni of the school and current Admissions Counselor & Staff Assistant in the Mansfield Campus Enrollment Services, said the video will be sent to the Global Carmen Project. Fans and alumni around the globe are sending in video recordings of their groups singing the alma mater.
OSU-Mansfield will be hosting an event on Saturday, Feb 8 at 11 a.m. in Riedl Hall at 1760 University Drive, Mansfield, Ohio 44906.
They’ll submit the video to the alumni association and it may be featured with a giant mashup of videos they receive in honor of the sesquicentennial of The Ohio State University.
“I’m really excited for it,” she said. “It will be exciting to see the giant video with local people in it.”
OSU-Mansfield is also asking for its alumni to take a survey for the anniversary for the OSU Alumni Club too.
