Police arrest in handcuffs

BUCYRUS — Two people were arrested early Monday morning after Bucyrus Police were called to a domestic disturbance and a possible gunshot.

According to a Bucyrus Police report, a unit responded to a possible domestic disturbance and gunshot at 1:59 a.m. in the 1200 block of Teddy Avenue. Upon the officer’s arrival a man involved was observed threatening a female.

Seth Hunter, 20, was arrested on charges of Domestic Violence, Possession of Marijuana, and Underage Consumption of Alcohol, police reported. Amber Banda, 21, was arrested on an Erie County warrant. They were both transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

8:40 a.m. A parking citation was issued in the 400 block of E Lucas St.

10:11 a.m. Officers made a welfare check in the 900 block of W Beal Ave.

11:42 a.m. A report of a subject spraying a chemical in the area of Heritage Circle turned out to be a lawn care company.

2:08 p.m. Officers spoke with a subject on station about a possible assault. The subject reported being assaulted by someone known to them.

2:55 p.m. A disturbance in the 200 block of N. Sandusky Avenue was investigated. It was a verbal domestic dispute.

3:23 p.m. A disturbance in the Kroger parking lot was investigated. It was a domestic dispute and it moved to the Library parking lot where it was mediated.

4:17 p.m. A private property accident at Circle K was investigated.

4:30 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of Nevada Road and Aumiller Park Drive.

4:38 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of Mary and Sandusky Avenue.

6:18 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle at Taco Bell.

6:47 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle at Aumiller Park.

7:30 p.m. Officers assisted a subject locked out of his residence in the 100 block of Gaius Street.

8:04 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the 400 block of W. Beal Avenue.

9:07 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of Oakwood and Sandusky Avenue.

9:11 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of Poplar and Oakwood Avenue.

9:15 p.m. Officers assisted a deputy on a traffic stop in the area of Marion and Southern Avenue.

9:36 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of Walnut and Warren Street.

9:43 p.m. Officers checked on a suspicious person in the 200 block of S. Lane Street. A female pedestrian had been lying on the ground and she was picked up by a taxi.

9:44 p.m. Officers checked the welfare of a subject in the 900 block of Marion Road.

9:49 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle in the 1700 block of Whetstone Street.

10:19 p.m. A disturbance in the 200 block of Woodlawn Avenue was a domestic argument and the protection order previously pertaining to the parties involved had recently been cancelled by the court.

10:22 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the 600 block of Whetstone Street.

10:43 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of Whetstone St. and Hopley Ave.

11:54 p.m. A report of a suspicious juvenile in the N. Lane St. area was a subject charging a phone at an outside electric outlet.

Saturday, April 6

12:27 a.m. A verbal traffic warning was given in the area of S. Sandusky Ave. and William St.

1:29 a.m. A report of loud music in the 100 block of Failor St. was investigated.

1:37 a.m. A report of 2 loud males at Harmon Park was investigated.

2:12 a.m. Traffic stop was made in the 200 block of E. Charles St. Michelle Hillman, 49, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. She was issued a date to appear in court and was released to sober party.

2:34 a.m. Patrick Thompson, 39, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County. He was issued a date to appear in court and released.

3:04 a.m. A report of 2 small children in the street in the area of Park Ave. and Woodlawn Ave. was unfounded.

4:19 a.m. A report of a red, reportedly suspicious vehicle, with 4 occupants, checking on parked vehicles in the Victoria Dr. area was investigated.

4:30 a.m. A resident in the 600 block of E. Oakwood Ave. reported their parked vehicle entered into.

4:46 a.m. A verbal traffic warning was given in the 1800 block of Hopley Ave.

5:42 a.m. A resident of Bucyrus Estates reported his vehicle entered overnight.

5:47 a.m. A report of a running vehicle with an open door and no one around in the 100 block of Gaius St. was investigated. It was secured and the keys given to the owner.

7 a.m. Officers investigated a report of a burglary in the 100 block of N. Spring St.

10:03 a.m. Officers investigated a report of dogs running loose in the 800 block of E. Mansfield St.

11:07 a.m. A report of subjects arguing in the Waterford Glen area was unfounded.

12:15 p.m. A resident in the 800 block of Wingert St. reported her vehicle broken into overnight.

12:28 p.m. Officers investigated a report of suicide threats. The subject denied making any threats.

1:11 p.m. A two car non-injury accident in the 100 block of Gaius St. was investigated.

1:12 p.m. A report of someone dumping ashes in the 400 block of W. Center St. was investigated.

2:06 p.m. A resident in the 1700 block of Marion Rd. reported his radiator punctured overnight.

2:07 p.m. Officers assisted with a funeral escort for Wise Funeral Service.

2:34 p.m. Officers investigated a report of a boy being threatened by someone at the park.

2:39 p.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lockout in the 300 block of W. Irving St.

2:55 p.m. A report of possible gunshots in the area of Irving and Wingert Street was investigated.

3:10 p.m. Officers checked the welfare of a resident in Waterford Glen.

3:18 p.m. Officers responded with EMS personnel to the 1000 block of E. Warren Street for a medical emergency.

3:49 p.m. Officers were flagged over in the area of Warren and Whetstone Street by a subject who had lost his dog. The dog was later located and returned to its owner.

5:41 p.m. A resident from the 600 block of Prospect Street reported medication stolen from his residence.

6:12 p.m. Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 1600 block of Colonial Drive.

7 p.m. A disturbance in the 900 block of S. East Street was investigated.

7:32 p.m. Officer investigated a trespassing complaint in a trailer on a property on Monnett St. A verbal warning reference trespassing was issued in the 1200 block of Monnett Street.

8:08 p.m. An open building in the 100 block of W. Warren Street was investigated.

8:30 p.m. Two subjects were trespassed from the Sk8 Factory.

10:10 p.m. A resident in the 1100 block of Victoria Dr. reported someone throwing things at their house.

10:35 p.m. A report of an erratic driver in the 200 block of E. Mary St. was unfounded.

10:43 p.m. Officers assisted an intoxicated male pedestrian in the Charlotte St. area.

10:47 p.m. A report of a loud party in the 100 block of N. Spring St. was investigated.

11:11 p.m. A verbal warning was given for loud music in the 500 block of S. Highland Ave.

11:23 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was given in the area of W. Charles St. and S. Poplar St.

11:46 p.m. A noise complaint in the 500 block of S. Spring St. was investigated.

11:50 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was given in the Kaler Ave. area.

Sunday, April 7

12:01 a.m. A written traffic warning was issued in the 100 block of E. Southern Ave.

12:42 a.m. A verbal traffic warning was given in the area of N. Poplar St. and W. Mary St.

12:51 a.m. A parking citation was issued in City Lot #3.

12:58 a.m. A verbal traffic warning was given in the area of Crawford St. and W. Perry St.

1:31 a.m. A verbal traffic warning was given in the area of S. Spring St. and W. Rensselaer St.

2:08 a.m. Officers on patrol checked on a suspicious vehicle parked at East Point Plaza. A subject was sleeping there for the night.

2:18 a.m. Officers mediated a domestic issue in the 1200 block of Dundee Trail.

7:09 a.m. Officers received a report of calves loose in the Industrial Park area. The owner of the feeder calves was found and walked the three back home on Tiffin Road.

8:11 a.m. A parking complaint in the 1300 block of Monnett St. was looked into.

12:26 p.m. A report of vandalism to a vehicle in the 1700 block of Marion Rd. was unfounded.

1:32 p.m. Officers had three young girls clean up the glass and debris of a television they threw into the street Beverly and Plymouth.

1:42 p.m. Officers investigated a report of an aggressive dog running loose on Songer Ave. The dog was found in its own yard.

3:12 p.m. A parking complaint in the 900 block of E. Warren was investigated.

4:20 p.m. A report of vandalism in the Waterford Glen area was investigated.

4:45 p.m. Officers investigated a report of an open door in the 200 block of E. Warren St.

5:13 p.m. Officers did a civil standby in the 500 block of Failor Ave.

5:30 p.m. Officers spoke to a motorist about her manner of driving in the 300 block of Short St.

5:58 p.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lockout at Kroger.

6:10 p.m. Officers did a civil standby in the 900 block of E. Mansfield St.

6:56 p.m. A 9-1-1 hang up call was investigated in the 600 block of E. Warren Street. It was kids playing with a phone, not an emergency.

7:27 p.m. Officers investigated an alarm in the 1400 block of Marion Road.

7:39 p.m. A subject on a 3-wheeler was warned about riding it on the streets in the area of Penn and Auto Avenue.

11:14 p.m. Officers spoke to subjects about a noise complaint in the 500 block of S. Spring St. Steven Young, 20, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. He was issued a date to appear in court and released.

Monday, April 8

1:34 a.m. A report of a possible gunshot in the 200 block of Plymouth Street was investigated.
