SHELBY — Mindy Rowlands, a teacher at Shelby Middle School, is doing “her thing” again this year when it comes to preserving the environment.
On Saturday, March 23, several of Rowland’s students assisted Shelby-area residents in unloading unwanted electronics at the school.
The group had a very successful event and wishes to thank the residents of Shelby for bringing their old electronics to be re-cycled. This group of students work daily to save the planet through recycling, not wasting, and cleaning up after themselves.
