BUCYRUS — Two Bucyrus Boys were arrested Friday on charges of criminal damaging after Police say they got an old school bus running and began smashing things with it.
The incident took place Friday at approximately 4:13 p.m. when officers responded to a report of subject trespassing at Central Ohio Recycling Service in the 300 block of N. Lane St.
Upon arrival, Police reported a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old Bucyrus boy had entered the restricted area of the business and got an old school bus running and were hitting things with the vehicle. They were taken to Juvenile Detention pending a hearing in Juvenile Court.

3:04 p.m. A suspicious person was reported in the 100 block of E. Mansfield St.
4:03 p.m. Officers assisted the Humane Society in the 200 block of N. Poplar St.
4:33 p.m. A report of a suspicious person was made in the area of Aumiller Park.
6:42 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist in the 800 block of Marion Rd.
7:42 p.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 200 block of E. Oakwood Av.
8 p.m. A welfare check was requested in the 1600 block of Marion Rd.
8:57 p.m. A disturbance was investigated in the 800 block of Beverly Dr.
9:03 p.m. A civil standby was requested in the 1000 block of E. Warren St.
9:32 p.m. A report of loud music was made in the area of Southern and East St. Kids playing basketball turned music down.
10:30 p.m. Officers assisted Crawford County Sheriff’s Department in the area of Harris and Hopley. A pedestrian in the area had been in a fight. The individual declined to make a complaint.
10:48 p.m. Officers assisted an Ohio State trooper on a traffic stop in the area of Mansfield and Spring Street.
11:14 p.m. Officers responded with EMS personnel to an overdose in the 400 block of W. Mansfield Street. It was non-fatal and the subject was treated at the hospital.
Saturday, Feb. 16
12:09 a.m. A report of a fight in the 100 block of W. Mansfield Street was investigated and subjects had dispersed.
7:22 a.m. Officers spoke to a man in the East Charles, S. East St area after a report of him acting suspicious in the area.
7:55 a.m. Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle at the Industrial Park. It was a disabled vehicle and they got it moving.
9:52 a.m. Officers spoke to a woman at the Police Department about a dog call.
3:51 p.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lockout in the 1700 block of Whetstone St.
4:18 p.m. A report of a possible domestic dispute was made in the area of Southern and Hopley Av.
4:23 p.m. A traffic crash on private property in the 400 block of Heritage circle was investigated. A tow truck responded for one of the involved vehicles that had heavy damage. A 33year old male was charged with OVI after the accident.
4:24 p.m. A disturbance was reported in the 600 block of N. Sandusky Av.
7:29 p.m. A theft report was taken in the 200 block of W. Mary St. A subject involved reported having chest pains and EMS transported them to the hospital.
Sunday, Feb. 17
1:15 a.m. A false alarm at the Dollar General was investigated.
2:24 a.m. A report of a suspicious person in the 400 block of Charlotte Street was investigated.
3:07 a.m. A disturbance in the 900 block of Earl Street was investigated. A drunk man was outside of a residence vomiting and he went back in his residence.
4:16 a.m. Officers responded with EMS personnel to an unknown medical alarm in the 400 block of W. Rensselaer Street.
9:28 a.m. Officers spoke to a man in the 300 block of Songer Ave about someone attempting to steal utilities.
11:32 a.m. Officers checked the 500 block of W. Warren St. after a report of kids throwing rocks in the area.
11:54 a.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lockout in the 1400 block of Whetstone St.
11:59 a.m. A false alarm was received in the 900 block of S. Poplar St.
1:01 p.m. Officers did a welfare check in the 300 block of Wallace Ave.
2:12 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of Iron and Mansfield St.
2:46 p.m. Officers attempted to serve a warrant.
3:13 p.m. A parking complaint was investigated in the 300 block of N. Sandusky Av. A red Chevy blazer was reported by the driver of a gray Ford Escort, to be blocking the alley. The driver of the Escort said they would not move they were there first. The officer advised the parties involved that it was two-way traffic north and south to the east west alley and the drivers went on their way without incident.
4:13 p.m. Officers assisted a resident in the 300 block of E. Warren St.
4:21 p.m. A report of a dog running at large was investigated in the 1200 block of N. Sandusky Av. A relative of the owner was contacted.
4:37 p.m. Officers spoke to a person on station about a custody issue.
4:39 p.m. Officers assisted Portsmouth Ambulance in the 300 block of Lawn Av. with a subject experiencing mental health issues and an injury.
4:53 p.m. A welfare check was requested in the 700 block of Beverly Dr. A subject reportedly was sick from smoking an unknown substance.
5:32 p.m. A report of a suspicious person was investigated in the 700 block of S. Sandusky Av.
10:21 p.m. A welfare check was requested in the 900 block of Victoria Dr.
11:05 p.m. Officers checked the 600 block of Woodlawn on report of a person trespassing in the area.
Monday, Feb. 18
4:03 a.m. Officers investigated a domestic complaint in the 800 block of Rose Ct.
4:32 a.m. Officers responded to the 800 block of W. Perry St. to search for an 85-year-old subject that was outside, wandering, whereabouts unknown. The subject was located and was safe with a relative.
