BUCYRUS — The body of a 50-year-old man found Sunday has been identified, Bucyrus Police Chief David Koepke said Monday.
Peter D. Clary, of Shelby was discovered by police and Emergency Management Services following a report of a man down in an alley between the 500 block of E. Rensselaer Street and E. Mansfield Street, according to the Bucyrus daily police report.
“The man was deceased and the coroner [was] contacted and the cause is under investigation,” the report said.
Kopeke said their coroner has submitted for an autopsy, but did not know when the results will come back.
He added there were no obvious signs of foul play and weather did not seem to be the cause of Clary’s death.
“We don’t know what he was doing there (in Bucyrus),” Koepke said. “We don’t know how he got there (in the alley).”
