Nerve-racking affair ends with Kalida on top of Delphos St. John’s

Kalida found the tipping point, and leaned on it to knock off Delphos John’s 43-42 in Ohio girls basketball on December 20.

Delphos John’s climbed on top in the first half and stayed there with a 22-20 lead at intermission.

The Wildcats broke in front at the beginning of the fourth quarter with a 35-34 lead over the Blue Jays.

The Wildcats matched the Blue Jays’s offensive output 8-8 in the final period to thwart any last hopes.
