Locust Corners Bulk Food & Deli has grown steadily since its opening in May 2013 at 6917 Ankneytown Rd, Bellville. The shop sells baking and food prep ingredients, seasonal produce, candy and snacks. The deli features fresh meat and cheese as well as custom sandwiches and hot soup.
Owners Wesley and Lois Good said opening Locust Corners was the fulfillment of a dream. “With the help of friends and church family, we were able to come to this point,” Good said.
Good strives to satisfy his customers. Free coffee is available while customers shop on a daily basis. During the past year, Locust Corners started accepting EBT cards and continues to stock new items. Soon the store will offer fresh baked goods as well.
Good said the level of service you receive at a small local shop does not compare to larger retailers.
“When you shop at a small business it is a pleasure to know the people you are working with,” Good said. “We treasure long-term friendships and acquaintances.”
