A little bit of character was called for when Winton Woods was forced to come from behind to upend Olentangy 49-42 on Friday for an Ohio high school football victory on November 2.
It were a long ride home for the Braves, which saw their late lead disappear with the Warriors’s 14-7 fourth-quarter performance.
Nothing was decided in the third quarter, with the Warriors and the Braves locked in a 35-35 stalemate.
Olentangy proved it would be a force to be reckoned with by building a 35-14 advantage over Winton Woods at the half.
The start wasn’t the problem for the Braves, who began with a 21-7 edge over the Warriors through the end of the first quarter.
