This letter is written in support of Phil Naumoff, candidate for judge.
I have been a member of the criminal defense bar for over 45 years. The Fraternal Order of Police unanimously backs Phil Naumoff for judge. Rarely do defense attorneys and police agree. It is different here.
Phil Naumoff has been an attorney in private practice for over 25 years. For the last eight years he has been the magistrate in Mansfield Municipal Court. In that position he has heard civil cases, arraigned many criminal defendants, heard suppression motions and felony preliminary hearings, and sentenced numerous defendants. He has exhibited excellent knowledge of the law and has treated all who appear in his court, both police and defendants, with fairness and respect.
His experience and professional demeanor are the reasons that both the police and defense bar support him.
