Letter to the Editor

I am writing in support of Andrea Clark’s candidacy for Richland County Common Pleas Court Judge. I have known Andrea and her family for nearly 25 years. From humble circumstances in Idaho and for many years here in Mansfield, Andrea has personally experienced the challenges of raising her family as well as helping run their family business.

She made a career change several years ago by attending the Ohio State University at Mansfield and earning a bachelors degree in business administration and concluding her formal education with a law degree (juris doctorate) from the University of Akron.

Since then, Andrea has worked in the Richland County court system preparing legal briefs for judges, assisting homeowners in foreclosure to work with their lenders to avoid foreclosure judgment, serving 3½ years as a magistrate in bench trials and hearings, as well as teaching political science at North Central State College. For her service in our county, Andrea has earned the endorsement of retired common pleas judge James Henson.

She is an intellectually gifted person who has gained broad and valuable experience from the challenges of life and her service to Richland County. Through her life experience, education, involvement with Richland County homeowners and her service as a Richland County magistrate, Andrea has demonstrated respect for the Constitution, developed sound legal understanding, fairness, compassion and impartiality.

She is worthy of the public trust and deserves the votes of Richland County’s citizens on or before Nov. 6. Please join me in voting for Andrea J. Clark as a Judge of the Richland County Common Pleas Court.

Sincerely,

Jeffrey S. Kennedy
