MANSFIELD — Mechanics Bank was recently honored as the fourth-ranked institution for mortgage and consumer loans, among nearly 380 banks across the country of similar size.
The Independent Community Bankers of America published listings of the nation’s top community bank loan producers in the July 2018 issue of Independent Banker magazine.
Of the 20 top companies ranked in their category, Mechanics Bank represents the only institution in Ohio selected to the list.
“Whether meeting with customers face-to-face or working behind the scenes, all members of our Mechanics team are instrumental in helping us be a leader in mortgage and consumer loans,” said Mark Masters, president & CEO of Mechanics Bank.
“We are thankful to our community and customers who value a relationship with an independent, community bank. That’s really what it all comes down to – a relationship based on trust and understanding. We provide value by helping our customers understand the loan process, looking out for their best interests, and working diligently through all the details, which helps to put them at ease.”
Mechanics Bank is Richland County’s only independent, community bank with nine locations in Richland County and an Equal Housing Lender.
