ASHLAND — Ohio 89 will close Wednesday, Aug. 15 for multiple culvert replacements. Crews will consecutively move north to south along Ohio 89 to complete all three culverts. The location and time frame for each culvert is as follows:
1. Aug. 15 – Aug. 21: just south of County Road 1302
2. Aug. 22 – Aug. 28: just south of Township Road 1150
3. Aug. 29 – Sept. 4: just north of Township Road 1150
The detour route is the same for all three culverts. Motorists heading northbound should travel Ohio 89 to US 250, west on US 250 to US 42, north on US 42 to Ohio 89, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2018.
