MANSFIELD — Three people were hospitalized early Tuesday morning after a shooting in the 200 block of South Adams St. in Mansfield. 

Mansfield Police Chief Ken Coontz reported detectives are investigating a residence on South Adams after officers got a call early Tuesday morning that shots were fired.

Coontz stated three people were shot and taken to the hospital. As of 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning, all three people are still alive, he said. 

Currently detectives are investigating whether the shooting was drug-related. Coontz confirmed that drugs were found at the scene.
