MANSFIELD — Catalyst Life Services announced Tuesday that the organization’s Board of Directors has appointed Harry Donahue as President and Chief Executive Officer.
“The Board and I are confident that Harry is the right person to continue growing the Agency and the services our dedicated employees provide to people in need in our region.” said John C. Roby board chair at Catalyst Life Services. “He is a seasoned leader with significant experience and passion for the Catalyst mission. We are fortunate to have him as our next CEO and a new member of our community.”
Donahue resides in Boulder, Colorado with his wife and will be relocating to Mansfield, Ohio in early September when he will begin employment with Catalyst. He has three children. Harry’s oldest daughter lives in Chicago, his middle child lives in New York City and his son is attending college in Boulder, Colorado.
He and his wife are excited to relocate to a smaller town in closer proximity to their two daughters and their East Coast roots.
“A job like this only comes along once every 25 years. When I reviewed the job description, it checked every box for me.” Donahue stated. He went on to say, “I am passionate about helping Catalyst grow and prosper and get to the next level so that everyone that wants and needs our help may receive it!”
Donahue has been serving as President & CEO for 1st Alliance Behavioral Health in Westminster, Colorado where he accomplished turning the organization around from unprofitable to profitable and building both a community and a culture that 333 employees were proud to be a part of, the company stated in a press release. Donahue is a healthcare executive with experience in executive leadership, operational excellence, and outreach for behavioral health.
He has worked in both privately held and publicly traded companies in the US and International markets specializing in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Strategic Planning, Supply Chain Management, Operational Improvements, and Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to joining Alliance Behavioral Health, Donahue had an extensive background serving as COO / CFO for various organizations.
Donahue has a Masters of Business Administration Degree in Finance from St. John’s University, New York, New York and a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree in Finance from Iona College, New Rochelle, New York.
Veronica Groff, Current President & CEO of Catalyst Life Services is also looking forward to working alongside him until her official retirement date in January 2019.
