ASHLAND — The Samaritan Hospital Foundation recently made a donation of $26,571 to University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center in honor of UH Samaritan volunteers, who gave 13,285 ½ hours to the organization last year.
The Foundation’s donation is the equivalent of $2 for each hour volunteered. Honorable mention volunteers, those with 200 hours or more, selected the hospital equipment that will be purchased with the donated funds.
