Hooked on Fishing program to begin June 6 at North Lake Park

MANSFIELD — Mayor Tim Theaker and the Parks Department are pleased to announce the Hooked on Fishing – Not Drugs program will begin on Wednesday, June 6 and run through Aug. 2.

This free program, open to all school-aged children, will take place at North Lake Park from 1 to 3 p.m. 

An instructor will teach the participants the basics of fishing. Bait and polls will be provided.The Police Athletic League will educate the children on drug awareness and prevention.

Mayor Theaker and the Parks Department would like to thank the Richland County Foundation for its generous donation that makes this program possible for the youth.
