GALION — Two people were arrested, a gun, cash and drugs were confiscated as part of a raid Tuesday afternoon in Galion.
The Galion Police Department, with the assistance of the Crawford County Special Response Team, executed a search warrant Tuesday at 710 Boyd Blvd. in Galion as the result of an extensive drug investigation.
During the search, officers were able to seize approximately 40 grams of crystal methamphetamine, a firearm, drug paraphernalia and some cash, according to a news release.
Arrested and taken to the Crawford County Jail were:
Kevin A. Gibson, 37, of 710 Boyd Blvd. He is being held on charges of possession of methamphetamine (a second-degree felony) and drug paraphernalia.
Christan G. Symsick, 36, of 710 Boyd Blvd. She is being held on the charge of possession of methamphetamine, a third-degree felony.
“These arrests were a culmination of an investigation of information developed through several sources,” said Galion Police Chief Brian Saterfield “This is another case of joint cooperation between Crawford County Law Enforcement to combat the drug issues in our County.”
The investigation will be forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutor for filing of formal charges against both suspects.
