HANOVER TOWNSHIP — A Loudonville teen was killed Monday after a single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 12:12 p.m., according to the Ashland Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Allison Bucher, 17, of Loudonville was killed after striking a tree and going over an embankment at approximately 12:12 p.m., according to a press release from the OSHP. The Loudonville student was wearing her seatbelt but succumbed to her injuries at the scene OSHP said.
She was headed northbound on County Road 3175. The vehicle stopped after becoming partially submerged in the Mohican River. There were no other passengers in the vehicle. The OHSP said drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the crash.
