ASHLAND — Hospice of North Central Ohio’s Passages Group is for adults who have experienced the death of a loved one and are looking for a safe space to process their grief, assured they are not alone.

For the first time, this educational grief support group will be held in Suite 400 of the Area Agency on Aging building at Hawkins Corner in Ontario. The new session begins April 2 and continues on Monday evenings from 5:30 to 7 p.m. for 10 weeks.

In addition, at HNCO’s Ashland office, a Suicide Support Group meets the second Wednesday of every month from 6:15 to 8 p.m.; a Parents’ Grief Support Group meets every second Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.; and an Infant and Pregnancy Loss Support Group meets every third Tuesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. These groups meet at 1050 Dauch Drive in Ashland.

All groups are free, open to the public, and directed by a licensed professional counselor. Free individual grief counseling is also available for anyone living with grief.
