ASHLAND — Five people were arrested after multiple law enforcement teams executed a search warrant in Ashland that reportedly netted suspected drugs and drug abuse instruments.
According to Ashland Police Lt. Garry Alting, Justin Cooke, 33, John Darlak, 34, Paige D’Angelo, 26, Alexis Ellis, 23, and Owen Gibson, 20, all of Ashland, were transported to the Ashland County Jail and held in connection with the investigation.
The Ashland Police, the Ashland Special Response Team, and Detectives from the Ashland Police Division and the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office as part of the METRICH Enforcement Unit, executed a search warrant at 1051 Arch Street in Ashland just after 6 a.m. on Friday.
Police seized suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and drug abuse instruments inside the residence.
