Truax Printing offers full service commercial printing for small and medium-sized enterprises, nonprofits and international corporations. Since 1966, Truax Printing has delivered on its mission to serve customers with design, competitive pricing and fast turnaround times.

Truax Printing delivers cost effective solutions to nonprofits and small retailers.

The Ashland West-Holmes Career Center orders its annual catalog, annual report, postcards, and newsletters from Truax Printing.

With about 40,000 copies of each piece going to every mailbox in Ashland County and West Holmes school district, Ashland West-Holmes Career Center Adult Education Director Melisa Carr appreciates the cost effectiveness Truax delivers. Truax handles the design, production, printing, addressing and mailing of the pieces.

“I have done a comparison with other printers and other career centers,” Carr said. “Other printers charge a lot more.”

Carr also appreciates the continuity in design from the catalog to the postcards.  “I am very happy with our process,” she said. “They turn my vocal communication into a hard copy, and they do it with excellence.”

Mission to Amish People (MAP) orders a 16-page bimonthly publication called The Amish Voice from Truax Printing. Truax designs and prints the publication.

Currently, the nonprofit gets 8,000 copies of the publication delivered to its headquarters. Executive Director & Founder Joe Keim said he is considering adding addressing and mailing to his order to save time.

Truax printed a spiral bound cookbook for MAP. A second saddle stitched reading booklet is in production. Truax even provides editing services for the books.

Keim and his staff members display vertical and horizontal banners printed by Truax when speaking at churches and conferences. Truax is currently printing an 18-foot banner to be display outside of the MAP ministry building.

Keim appreciates the ordering process of uploading files directly to the Truax Printing website and then speaking with his Account Executive Daniel Truax.

“Daniel is the kind of guy that will go the extra mile to give us the best price, even if it means three or four conversations,” Keim said. “That’s what makes them stand out. They care about their customers.”

Pine Tree Barn in Wooster has used Truax Printing for the past 10 years for brochures, business cards, letterhead and direct mail postcards. Postcard jobs average 20,000 copies.

“We found them to be super helpful,” Owner and Director of Marketing & Communications Matt Kilbourne said.” We like Truax because they deal with very large customers and run large jobs. By comparison our jobs are very small, but they make us feel like big customers.”

Kilbourne knows all of the team members at Truax Printing, and appreciates their patience when adjusting orders.

“There have been a few times when we have been close to the deadline,” Kilbourne said. “They work hard to get it out. They never complain. They always treat us like gold.”

With updated printing machinery, finished products are high quality.

“I am always glad to recommend Truax Printing,” Kilbourne said. “I can recommend them without hesitation.”

While Truax Printing effectively services small and medium-sized organizations, it also produces orders for international corporations. Bendon Publishing prints large volumes of coloring books through Truax Printing. Truax produces and drop ships orders of 400,000 multiple times per year.

Bendon Publishing Production Manager Rachel Rabalais describes the ordering process as “super easy.” She talks with her Account Executive Zack Truax about price, number of titles, and case packs. After agreeing on a price they send the order to their respective pre-press departments to finalize files, proofs and corrections before printing.

“I think they deliver excellent customer service and a good product in a timely and efficient manner,” Rabalais said. “I am sure they would offer the same level of service to any one that would use them as a printing source.”

Coloring Book Solutions LLC orders products from Truax Printing to market and sell in batches of 100,000. Truax produces more than 1 million coloring books per year and then drop ships them to Canada, South America, Puerto Rico and even Europe.

Coloring Book Solutions also uses Truax Printing to maintain the office with business cards, letterhead, desk calendars, envelopes and stationary.

“We don’t have any other vendors that provide the amount of support Truax provides,” Coloring Book Solutions General Manager Scott Ward said. “We almost see Truax as just another extension of us with the type of service they provide.”

Ward said Truax Printing’s support staff members have even caught errors in orders and saved Coloring Book Solutions from printing incorrect items.

“The relationship that we have established with Truax is like no other,” Ward said. “We’ve done business with Truax for nearly 20 years, and I look forward to another 20 years if not longer.”
