BUCYRUS — Bucyrus Police are pursuing 42-year-old Jeremy Lewis in connection with a felonious assault and burglary case.
Police report there is an active warrant for Lewis, who is described as 5-foot-8, 180 pounds, with short brown hair and tattoos on and around his neck.
Bucyrus authorities say there were called to a domestic issue at 5:10 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of Plymouth St. where they began an investigation for felonious assault. Police believe the matter is related to an earlier felonious assault and burglary investigation, which took place in the 900 block of East Rensselaer Street.
The subject in that case was the victim of a felonious assault and transported by helicopter for care.

2:01 p.m. Officers assisted OSP in the 300 block of E Irving St. with a reckless operation complaint. The subject reportedly was in a property dispute in the 400 block of Lawn Ave.
2:10 p.m. An employee of Ehrhart’s Party Store reported a theft.
3:04 p.m. Officers responded to an alarm in the 1300 block of Woodlawn Ave.
3:31 p.m. A traffic warning was given in the 100 block of Woodlawn Ave.
5:08 p.m. A traffic warning was given in the area of Schaber Ave. and Fremont St.
7:51 p.m. A report of possible gunshots in the 600 block of S. Sandusky Ave. was investigated no disturbance was located.
7:59 p.m. Traffic stop was made in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave. and Steven Blankenship, 57, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was issued a court date and released to a sober friend.
9:03 p.m. Officers checked an apartment at Woodbine for intruders at the tenant’s request.
9:28 p.m. Officers responded to and mediated a domestic dispute on Nauman Ave.
11:51 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist stuck in the mud at Aumiller Park. A traffic report was made and a tow truck had to respond to remove the vehicle.
Friday, Feb. 23
12:19 a.m. Officers mediated a domestic issue in the 100 block of E. Kilbourne Dr.
12:12 a.m. Officer made a traffic stop for speed near Hopley and E. Beal Ave. Christopher Koons, 34, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and transported to the Crawford County Jail.
