ASHLAND – Ashland University faculty member Dr. Robert Stoll was promoted to associate professor of operations and supply chain management and granted tenure following the action of the Ashland University Board of Trustees at its winter meeting.

The promotion is effective at the beginning of the institution’s 2018-2019 academic year.

Stoll, who joined Ashland University in 2012, serves as the chair of the Department of Management, International Business, Supply Chain Management and Entrepreneurship. He earned both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Ph.D. in operations and supply chain management from Cleveland State University.

Stoll has extensive industrial experience as an engineer, plant manager, general manager and technical director. His research has focused on supply chain management. He serves as president of the APICS Cleveland Chapter.
