Arthur “Art” J. Rosbough, age 57, passed away at his home on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, after a battle with cancer. He was born at People’s Hospital on July 5, 1960, to Paul and Velma Rosbough in Mansfield, Ohio.
Art was raised in Mifflin, working the family farm throughout his adolescence and teen years. He worked at Westbrook Country Club in the 1980s. Art knew no strangers and enjoyed meeting new and interesting people. His compassion and love for his adopted family-the Lester’s-far exceeded words.
He is survived by a brother, Randy (Shirley) Rosbough of Mifflin; best friend, Earl Lester; and the entire Lester family. Art is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Butch Rosbough.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield followed by the service at 11 a.m. He will be laid to rest in Mansfield Cemetery immediately after the service.
