Crawford Soil and Water Conservation District; serving Crawford County since 1945.

GALION — Are you a farmer, or know one in the Little Scioto, Olentangy, or Mud Run Watersheds?

If so, there is a survey that the Crawford Water & Soil Conservation District would appreciate you filling out. This information will help the group learn how it can help you and your operation’s conservation needs.

It will be used to develop watershed action plans, which are reports on a watershed’s impairments and the recommended best management practices that will be used to correct them. These watershed action plans are required to receive future grant monies.

“We need as much information as we can gather from our the watershed residents to see how best we can benefit you with the services, programs, and funding opportunities our office can provide,” the district stated.

Responses are requested by Feb. 1.

The survey can be found in the district office, on the Facebook page (Crawford Soil and Water) or the website: www.crawfordswcd.org. If you have any questions, please call, Megan Brown–Conservation Technician, 419-562-8280 ext. 3. Please return surveys to Crawford Soil and Water Conservation District office, 3111 State Route 98, Bucyrus, Ohio 44820.
