BUCYRUS – The Bucyrus City School District will host conferences January 12. School will not be in session Friday, Jan. 12, as well as Monday, Jan. 15 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
The Elementary School will host parent-student conferences from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., along with other times as scheduled between parents and teachers. Meetings will run every 15 to 20 minutes, discussing student progress, classroom activities, as well as tips on how to support the student at home.
Parents are encouraged to bring questions they may have regarding their child’s education. Teachers at the Secondary School will be available for conferences during normal school hours 7:50 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. Teachers will contact parents if a conference is needed. Parents wishing to participate who are not contacted by their child’s teacher, are asked to set up meeting times with teachers directly.
