BUCYRUS — A foot chase on Tuesday night in Bucyrus led to the arrest of a man wanted in Richland and Crawford Counties.

At approximately 8:48 p.m. Bucyrus Police officers attempted to locate a subject with an active warrant in the 800 block of N. Sandusky Ave. After a foot pursuit, Dustin Hunt, 30, was arrested on two warrants out of Crawford County and a warrant out of Richland County.

He also received additional charges of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest and Abusing Harmful Intoxicants. He was issued summons to appear in court and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held on the warrants.

8:24 a.m. A false alarm was received in the 1700 block of Marion Rd.

10:31 a.m. Officers investigated a report of a breaking and entering at Bucyrus Rail Car, 820 Hopley Ave.

10:32 a.m. Officers investigated a report of a theft from the 400 block of Norton Way.

10:44 a.m. Officers picked up an abandoned bike in the 300 block of W. Lucas St.

11:09 a.m. Officers spoke to a subject in the Irving and Wingert St. area about repairing a vehicle on the street.

12:04 p.m. Officers spoke to an accused man that made a threatening phone call in the 1300 block of S. Sandusky Ave.

12:04 p.m. A parking citation was issued for over 48hours in the 100 block of W. Center St.

12:08 p.m. Officers assisted Bucyrus Fire Department at Kroger with a car fire. A motorist in a 2002 Dodge Caravan reported the dashboard started smoking when she was at a light for Mary and Walnut. She pulled into the Kroger lot where she called 911 and the interior caught fire. Bucyrus Fire extinguished the blaze and Carl’s Towing removed the vehicle.

12:39 p.m. A parking citation was issued for over 48 hours in the 700 block of S. Poplar St.

1:05 p.m. A parking citation was issued for over 48 hours in the 200 block of Woodlawn Ave.

1:15 p.m. A parking citation was issued for over 48 hours in the 200 block of S. Walnut.

1:26 p.m. A parking citation was issued for over 48 hours in the 100 block of Wayne Ave.

1:58 p.m. Two parking citations were issued for over 48 hours in the 600 block of E. Warren St.

2:03 p.m. A two car non-injury accident was investigated in the 200 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

3:04 p.m. Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 100 block of Dudley Street.

3:12 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle at Walmart.

4:10 p.m. A loud music complaint was investigated in the 500 block of S. Spring Street.

4:19 p.m. An employee at O’Reilly Auto Parts reported a small skunk around their back door. They were provided with some phone numbers for nuisance animal removal.

5:45 p.m. A resident in the 200 block of W. Lucas Street reported items stolen from his home.

5:49 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle at Baker’s Pizza.

6:48 p.m. A Bucyrus resident came to the Police Department to speak with an officer about ongoing harassment issues.

8:39 p.m. Officers assisted two citizens and contacted the Salvation Army.

10:33 p.m. 13-year-old Andrice Dukes was reported missing. She is an African-American female. She is 5-foot-4, 115 pounds, with brown eyes and red hair. She was last seen wearing black leggings and a black T-shirt and carrying a light pink book bag. If anyone has any information on her please contact the Bucyrus Police Dept.

Wednesday, Jan. 3

12:06 a.m. An alarm in the 300 block of Kramer Ave. was investigated and was a false alarm.

12:26 a.m. Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 100 block of E. Liberty St. Amanda J. Johnson, 33, and Sara M. Lewis, 29, were arrested for domestic violence. They were both taken the Crawford County Justice Center to await a court appearance.

2:30 a.m. A report of broken water lines in the 300 block of S. Sandusky Ave. was investigated and a property caretaker contacted to shut water off.

5:55 a.m. Officers checked on a disabled vehicle in the 400 block of S. Walnut St.
