MANSFIELD – The Richland County Foundation announces its college and trade school scholarship application for the 2018-19 school year is now available online at richlandcountyfoundation.org.
New applicants and high school seniors must have at least a 2.5 grade point average (GPA), college students and returning applicants must have at least a 2.0 GPA, attend an accredited school and be a resident or high school graduate of Richland County. Trade school programs should be at least 600 hours.
These are not recurring scholarships so students must re-apply each year. College and trade school scholarships are based on financial need.
In addition, the Mansfield Aviation Club (MAC), a not-for-profit 501c3, provides a scholarship to help people learn how to fly. Residents of Richland and contiguous counties are eligible to apply for the aviation scholarship.
The application for these scholarships is available at richlandcountyfoundation.org and the deadline is April 1.
