MANSFIELD – Mansfield Memorial Homes’ Board of Directors has announced the promotion of Miles Parsons from Administrator to CEO effective Jan. 1, 2018.
Miles was born and raised in Mansfield and completed his internship at Mansfield Memorial Homes in 2011. In 2012, he was named as the Assistant Administrator, working his way towards the Administrator role the following year.
During his tenure, he directed his teams to 4 Ohio Department of Health Deficiency Free Surveys and was a nominee for the Ohio RAP Administrator of the Year in 2013. Miles was a member of the inaugural class to obtain licensure as a Certified Executive for Assisted Living.
He left MMH for a two-year period in 2015 to focus on a struggling facility in Knox County and worked to increase census to full occupancy and increased staff retention nearly 60 percent.
He was selected to the Executive Director Advisory Board representing the top 10% of Administrators with the 6th largest provider of long-term care in the country and was one of twenty facilities in the State of Ohio to receive the 2017 American Healthcare Association Bronze Award.
Miles returned to Mansfield Memorial Homes in September 2017 as the Administrator. He and his wife Lindsay have three children, Paityn, Camden and Lillian and resides in Mansfield.
Mansfield Memorial Homes is Richland County’s only non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Campus and has been serving those in the Mansfield area for more than 60 years.
