Richard A. Bartram, 72, of Mansfield, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 following a lengthy illness.
Richard was born on November 15, 1945, in Ft. Gay, WV, to Benton Bartram and Emma G. (Seymore) Bartram Mullins. He spent an integral part of his growing up years with his father, Wes Mullins. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. On October 3, 1992, he married Linda (Adkins) Bartram, and spent many wonderful years together. Richard loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and watching live PD when he didn’t give up on the Browns, all while sharing a very close relationship full of laughter and good times with his son-in-law, Jimmy Daley.
Along with his mother, Emma Mullins, and his wife, Linda, he is survived by four children, Angel (Mark) Murphy of Painesville, KY, Chad (Jill) Bartram of Ashland, KY, and Billie (Jim) Daley and Lisa Mills, both of Mansfield; ten grandchildren, Stormy, Autumn, Josiah, Shena, Mathew, Justin, Drew, Cody, Zach, and Olivia; five great-grandchildren, Kade, Eli, Weston, Benji, and Dolly; one step-sister, Donna Bartram, and one brother, Jeff Bartram, both of Louisa, KY.
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Wes Mullins; and his biological father, Benton Bartram.
Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, OH. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Rick Pelfrey and Pastor Vern Cole officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery with full military honors performed by Richland Co. Joint Veterans Burial Detail.
