ASHLAND — A pair of Ashland County teenagers were honored as November Students of the Month at the Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center.
Elizabeth Johnston, Hillsdale High School and Tyler Mathys, Ashland High School, were named Career Center Students of the Month for November.
Johnston, in the Career Center’s Graphic Communications program, was named the Junior Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Raquel Johnston and resides in Jeromesville.
Mathys, in the Career Center’s Auto Body Technology program, was named the Senior Student of the Month. He is the son of Gary and Cindi Mathys and resides in Ashland.
Both students and their families were invited to the regular meeting of the Career Center’s Board of Education on December 21, 2017, where each will be presented with a certificate and pin in recognition of this honor.
