David A. Keifer, 74, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017 at his home.
David was born April 27, 1943 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the son of James Keifer and Elizabeth (Kovach) Keifer. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his daughter, Michele Keifer, of Indiana; four grandchildren, Tory (Kayla) Mercado, of Muncie, Indiana, Dawnya Mercado, of Muncie, Indiana, Austin Mercado, of New Castle, Indiana, and Chloe Ripberger, of New Castle, Indiana; and three great-grandchildren.
David was preceded in death by his parents; son, David A. Keifer Jr.; brother, Jeffrey Keifer; and his canine companion, Teddy.
