ASHLAND — The Ohio Department of Transportation has issued its weekly construction schedule.
As a result, drivers in Ashland County are advised to use caution on this road:
State Route 96
SR 96, between Twp. Rd. 1293 and Twp. Rd. 1253, is closed for a culvert replacement. Twp. Rd. 1253 will remain open during construction. The detour route for eastbound motorists is SR 96 to SR 545, northeast on SR 545 to US 250, southeast on US 250 to SR 96, and reverse for westbound motorists. Crews will begin to shut down the project Wednesday, November 22 for the winter months. Work will resume in the spring. The entire project is expected to be complete April 2018.
