ASHLAND – Donley Auto Group of Ashland celebrated the grand opening of its Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center on Claremont Avenue Tuesday morning with a special ribbon cutting ceremony.
Owner Scott Donley said the state-of-the-art, 6,000-square-foot facility was an extension of the Donley Service Department and will offer service to all makes and models, not just Fords, with no appointment required.
“With the way business has been going, it’s booming, and we needed more space. So what better segue into doing more business but to open a Quick Lane,” Donley said.
Donley thanked Simonson Construction for the work they did on the facility.
Quick Lane features six bays and offers all forms of light maintenance including oil changes, tire changes, brakes, alignments, A/C system, wipers, alternators, suspension and steering, batteries, belts and hoses and all types of fluid services.
Donley opened its Quick Lane in September and has added eight employees to the Donley team.
“We’re very excited about this,” Donley said. “We think it will be great for the community.”
Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce President Barbie Lange was happy that Donley was making use of the site, which had sat vacant for several years.
“I want to congratulate you and your team for this beautiful facility to make this spot successful. It’s wonderful that you’ve made this investment in Ashland, so thank you very much,” Lange said.
Ashland Mayor Duane Fishpaw and a representative from U.S. Rep. Bob Gibbs also presented commendations to Donley.
Quick Lane is open Monday through Saturday. The hours Monday through Friday are from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donley Quick Lane is located at 1677 Claremont Ave.
