Nicole Ann “Nicki” Heffelfinger, 33, of Loudonville, a child of God who battled a long-term drug addiction, died Wednesday evening, October 18, 2017 in Mansfield. Nicki was born February 28, 1984 in Mansfield and was the daughter of Fred and Sandra McElwain Heffelfinger. She was a 2002 graduate of Loudonville High School, living here most of her life. Nicki was a loving, caring mother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, and granddaughter as well as a mother to a boxer bulldog, “Maze”. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved playing with her son, nieces and nephews.
Nicki is survived by her son, Hunter Troy Heffelfinger; her parents, Fred and Sandy Heffelfinger of Loudonville; her brother, Jarrod (Kristen) Heffelfinger of Loudonville; her sister, Kristy (Dan) Spreng of Loudonville; nieces and nephews: Alexis, Brayden, and Camryn Heffelfinger, and Lillian and Warren Spreng; maternal grandfather, Alvin McElwain of Loudonville, paternal grandmother, Mildred Heffelfinger of Loudonville; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Guy Heffelfinger, her maternal grandmother, Carol McElwain, and her aunt, Kay Heffelfinger.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 4:00 PM in New Hope Community Church, 637 N. Market Street, Loudonville, with Pastor Rob Paterson officiating, where friends may visit with the family from 2-4 PM before the service.
