ONTARIO — Three people were injured and two went to the hospital Wednesday morning after a truck crashed into the Circle K at 320 Lexington Springmill Road North in Ontario.
“We’ve got (serious) injuries to people inside,” said Ontario Police Cheif, Tommy Hill. “One injury to an arm and a minor leg injury. Other than that we can say there are no life-threatening injuries.”
Hill theorized the driver, a woman in a red truck, had a seizure.
“At this point, all we know is this was medically related,” He said. “But we won’t know for sure until we do more investigation on it.”
The driver of the vehicle was transported to a hospital.
“At this point it just looks medically related and it looks like it was an accident,” the chief said.
