For at least 100 years travelers to Ganges have enjoyed special accommodations on the square downtown.

There are a couple of qualifiers for this statement: the square in downtown Ganges is actually a triangle; and the designated traveler’s facilities are designed to accommodate birds that are quite small.

You can always tell the soul of a community by the way they treat their birds. By this standard, a quick drive through the heart of the hamlet confirms there is much to recommend the good will of Ganges.
