GALION — Strawser Construction Inc. is doing crack sealing work on several streets throughout Galion.
The sections of streets are as follows:
Harding Way – from South Boston Street to Liberty Street
Grove Avenue – from Orange Street to Portland Way
Jefferson Street – from Harding Way to Grove Avenue
South Union Street – from railroad tracks to Harding Way
Hayward Drive – all
Briarwood Drive – all
Teakwood Court – all
Hollywood Drive – all
Timberlane Drive – all
Meadowood Court – all
Woodland Drive – all
Drivers should watch for work crews on these streets and expect temporary lane closures in work areas.
Please note the crack sealing is separate from the upcoming street paving projects. The city received two bids for street paving and a contract will be awarded this week. The contractor will then begin work as soon as possible.
