MANSFIELD — ‘Escape Plan 3’ has begun advertising a casting call for new speaking roles in the film, which is being shot in Mansfield.
The second sequel to Escape Plan (2013) and Escape Plan 2 (2018) is searching for speaking roles, background actors, and other featured roles for the upcoming feature film starring Sylvester Stallone and Dave Bautista.
The director of the movie is John Herzfeld.
“Casting directors are looking for people in the Chinese community for speaking and non-speaking roles. Filming will shoot in Mansfield, Ohio,” ProjectCasting.com said.
Filming is scheduled to take place between Sept. 18 and Oct. 13.
The casting call requires two to three photos with no sunglasses, hats or anyone else in the photo. The call also asks for Chinese people only. Martial arts experience and tattoos are also mentioned.
Ninety percent of the film will reportedly be shot in Mansfield. While the Ohio State Reformatory will be a main featured, the production crew is scouting other locations in Mansfield.
