John D. Renchen, 62, of Columbus, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017.
John was born on May 21, 1955, in Vanceburg, Kentucky, to Joseph and Ethel G. (Polley) Renchen. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. John loved construction work and enjoyed doing projects around the house. He also enjoyed watching westerns.
He is survived by his loving companion of 12 years, Teresa Giammarco; three children, Diana Kling, of Mansfield, Lauren Crislip, of Cuyahoga Falls, and Michelle Boone, of Louisiana; 10 grandchildren, Justenne, Jayna, Braison, Nicholas, Ryan, Dylan, Lyndsey, Christopher, Joseph, and Samantha; many great-grandchildren; one sister, Victoria Petitt, of Mansfield; three aunts, Louise Zornes, of Vanceburg, Kentucky, Dorothy Trapp, of Cincinnati, and Edith Eulett, of Webster, Florida; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Heather Hawkins; one grandson, Michael Fuller; one sister, Shirley Dockery; and one brother, Larry Renchen.
Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
