During a search Wednesday evening at 90 E. Main St. in Plymouth, detectives seized 179 oxycodone tablets with an estimated street value of $7,160, numerous other prescription pills, nearly 2 pounds of marijuana, suspected mushrooms, a handgun and more than $9,000 in cash.

PLYMOUTH – A 28-year-old Plymouth man was arrested on drug charges Wednesday night after a search warrant was served at a Main Street residence.

At approximately 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, the METRICH Enforcement Unit, with assistance from the Allied Special Operations Response Team and the Plymouth Police Department, executed a search warrant at 90 E. Main St. The search warrant was the result of a lengthy drug investigation conducted by the Plymouth Police Department and the METRICH Enforcement Unit.

During the search, detectives seized 179 oxycodone tablets with an estimated street value of $7,160, numerous other prescription pills, nearly 2 pounds of marijuana, suspected mushrooms, a handgun and more than $9,000 in cash.

After the search, Guy Brown was charged with possession of Schedule II drugs, a second-degree felony, and possession of marijuana, a fifth-degree felony.

Further charges are expected after completing an analysis of the other pills.

METRICH Commander Lt. Joseph D. Petrycki stated the Plymouth Police Department did an excellent job on this investigation and that the METRICH Enforcement Unit will continue to target those who traffic drugs anywhere in Richland County.
